Dear Exhibitor:
The sponsoring organizations invite you to participate in our 2012 Northeast laboratory Conference to be held in Portland, Maine, Tuesday through Thursday, October 16-18, 2012 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay.
This joint meeting is the largest clinical laboratory conference in New England. We host Medical Technologists, Supervisors, Laboratory Managers, Administrators, and Pathologists from New England and Canada. These decision-makers represent hospitals, physicians’ offices, and independent laboratories.
The 2011 conference was a great success, with more than 700 attendees over three days and exhibitors occupying over 87 booths. That was our 17th year in the Casco Bay Exhibit Hall, which continues to receive terrific reviews by the exhibitors. Reservation of exhibition booths:
Because of the popularity of the conference, we anticipate the exhibit areas to be filled quickly. Since booths will be assigned on a first come/first serve basis, early registration is suggested. If being next to a competitor is a concern, please contact an Exhibits Committee member at the time of your booth registration. We will do our best to accommodate you but, because of limited booth space, we cannot guarantee that you will not end up near a competitor. The cost of a booth in the Casco Bay Exhibit Hall is still very reasonable at $725 for 3 days for either a 6’x8’ or 6’x10’ booth. We will be happy to reserve booths on request (subject to availability) for all exhibitors who have made a verbal commitment to participate in the 2012 Conference. However, we can only honor those verbal commitments for which full payment has been received within thirty (30) days of the request. We welcome requests for two or more consecutive booths.
The success of this conference is due in large part to the support of our exhibitors. To ensure continued success, we have planned an exciting program and a larger mailing list to attract an ever-increasing number of registrants from laboratories in New England, New York and Canada.
As always, our goal is to operate the exhibition hall to maximize exhibitor/attendee contact time. We have scheduled the following exhibit hours and events:
The official exhibit hours will be –
- Tuesday, October 16 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
(Social Hour with wine and cheese, immediately following the Keynote
Speaker)
- Wednesday, October 17 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday, October 18 7:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In addition –
- The Exhibit Hall will open for continental breakfast at 7:00 a.m. each morning. We suggest you take this opportunity to greet attendees for an hour before sessions start.
- Scheduled Coffee Breaks will be served in the Exhibit Hall from 9:30-10:00 a.m. and 3:00-3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Lunch for the exhibitors will be served from 11:00-11:45 a.m., this allows you to be back at your booth when the morning education sessions are finished. However, you may attend one of the later lunches if you wish. Lunch for the attendees will be served in two sittings, 11:45 – 12:30 and 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. No education sessions will be conducted during the attendee lunch.
- Valuable prizes will be raffled off each afternoon in the Exhibit Hall. Smaller raffles will be held throughout the course of the show to help generate traffic through the exhibit area.
Exhibitors are required to read all of the information under the Exhibitors tab on our website, including the Terms and Conditions. Application for exhibit space at our 2012 conference indicates the applicant’s willingness to abide by all of the terms, conditions and general regulations that the Fall Conference Committee deem necessary for the success of the conference.
